These terms explain the launch offer. A selected project will also have a written scope covering the actual build.
Applying is not a guarantee
We normally select no more than one free build each week. We may accept, decline, waitlist or ask questions about any application. Applying does not create a customer relationship or oblige either side to proceed.
What “free” covers
For a selected applicant, the agreed first-build fee is £0. Third-party software, platform, API and usage costs are separate, disclosed before work begins and paid through us as agreed. Additional projects are separately scoped and quoted.
Scope, access and safety
The written project scope will describe responsibilities, accounts, access, testing, human oversight and acceptance. You must have authority to give us access to relevant systems and data. We will not knowingly use the launch offer for clinical, legal, lending, financial-advice, safety-critical or other high-risk autonomous decisions.
Ownership and third parties
The completed bespoke build remains yours if our working relationship ends, subject to payment of agreed third-party costs and any rights or limitations belonging to the platforms, open-source projects or services it uses. Exact handover terms will be stated in the project scope.
